Liposuction

Liposuction is a procedure that can help decrease the unwanted fat around your body. This can be performed under local anesthetic with medications to help the patient relax and also under general anesthesia. Good candidates for liposuction had extra fat in the lower abdominal area without much excess or overhanging skin. Compared to Kybella or “freezing” of the submental fat with CoolSculpting, we feel that liposuction of this area is a more effective method of treating the areas. In addition, aesthetic goals are usually achieved with one treatment. Although there is post procedural bruising and swelling, pain is usually not a significant issue. This procedure may be combined with other body aesthetic procedures as well.
